Café Bohío was founded in 2012 in Jacó Beach, Costa Rica, and has been roasting and serving coffee since. Our heart beats of love for Costa Rica and passion for the local community; we serve Costa Rican native products combined with handcrafted ingredients from artisans that live locally. Our intent is to craft beautiful drinks from the ingredients of our area. The main ingredient, coffee, is cultivated in Tarrazú, Costa Rica, where we retain direct relationships with our farmers. After the 3 hour journey from Tarrazú to Jaco, the farmers hand over their work and it is our goal to maintain the quality of the bean until it reaches your cup. We find ourselves fortunate to live in an area where direct relationships are possible and natural products exist so abundantly; we are excited to share our craft with you!
